Patchily
When you think of fashion style in the late 60's, women generally
fell into one of two camps . . . the flower child or the urban
militant. PATCHILY offers a little of both for a new spin on hippie
chic. These are pieces that are meant to be effortlessly thrown
together by the Spanner woman. To mix, but not necessarily to
match. Definitely not to be taken too seriously. A modern take on
bohemian splendour, with a little 'rebel with a cause' edginess.
Gorgeous deep vegetable colours are integrated in a leopard/stripe
print, floral chintz, pearly metallics and batik dyed plaid. It's a
mélange of Orchid, Putty, Cargo, and Copper. Dulled brass is used
in custom hardware, made all the more interesting with tiny ball
bearings and pyramid stud ornamentations. Lace, eyelet and sequins
finish off the softer side of Patchily looks. Key to this
collection are the crochet sweater, sleeveless vest, extremely
lightweight shells, sweet safari dress, ankle grazer pants, jeans
with great back details and specially designed coordinating
accessories. It's groovy, baby!
